My 8 year old son is interested in HIp Hop classes but not interested in performing in front of crowds. He just wants to learn to dance. Does he still need to purchase a costume? How much is the monthly fee? Could we come by to observe one of your classes?
I have 2 daughters, what is the benefit of participating in both BADA AND Spring Ballet? Because I will be paying double for everything, I’m wondering if the experience of BADA can be enough and not do both for economic reasons.
Hello Marti!
Thank you for your interest in Burlington Academy of Dance & Arts! We do not have a separate Hip Hop class, but instead we incorporate Hip Hop into our Jazz curriculum. It is a performing class though students always have the option of not performing. Please call the Office Tues.-Thurs. 4:00pm-6:00pm at 584-6727 for pricing information. You are more than welcome to come by at your convenience, but we do not have any more Hip Hop or Jazz classes this Summer. We would love to see you and your son and get a chance to talk to you some more so please do drop by during our Office hours.
Hi Natalie!
Thank you for your interest in Burlington Academy of Dance & Arts! BADA and the Spring Ballet are not 2 separate entities. Our ballet program is one of the strongest in the area and is one of the many exciting programs we have to offer (such as Jazz, Modern & Tap). Ballet students graduate from our Children’s Program and graduate to the Ballet Program once entering the 1st grade. Currently, we produce one or two full-length ballets per season. Our Winter ballet is optional and students audition for placement IF they wish to participate. Our Spring ballet utilizes all of the students in the ballet program and includes guest artists.
We operate on a sliding payment scale that calculates the total number of hours your family is dancing per week for a monthly tuition. The more hours that your family is dancing the less each hour is charged. Therefore, double the dancers or double the disciplines does not equal double the money.
Ballet is a big part of the experience of BADA, but other options do exist. Please come visit during Office hours Tues.-Thurs. 4:00pm-6:00pm so that we may help you find the overall dance experience that works best for your family. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hi, my daughter is 11 and is interested in BADA jazz, ballet and Artistic. I am a nurse what are the latest possible classes for those programs?
