Communication
*Each BADA family will be assigned a mailbox.  To ensure that all important communications are not lost, we ask that parents, not students, check mailboxes.
*If you need to communicate with us, you may leave a message at 584-6727 or you may email through our website, www.BADAdance.com.
*Our website provides a great deal of information for parents and students.  Important event updates and studio policies may be found online.
*Please refer to the monthly BADA newsletters for any changes or updates.

Placement
*Placement is dependent on emotional maturity, physical development, strength, comprehension of skills and competency of execution.  This policy is important to insure dancer safety and to insure best possible instruction at any given level.
*Instructors will observe class and evaluate placement for the first six weeks of class.
*You will be contacted should an instructor feel a dancer would be better served in a different class.

Attendance/Punctuality
*Faithful attendance is strongly encouraged for all dancers.  Please notify BADA if your dancer must be absent.
*If your dancer is ill but not contagious, we encourage class observation; please send a note with your student, otherwise student is expected to dance.
*Parents will be notified if students are continually late for class.
*Students missing four or more unexcused classes after February 1 will not be allowed to dance in the performance without instructor approval.
*Dancers must be present for Dress Rehearsal in order to perform in our spring performance.  The only exception is illness with a doctor’s note to Ms. Patty prior to performance day/time.

Instructor/Weather/Holiday Class Cancellation
*Please consult attached BADA calendar for holiday closings.
*Dance classes will be held on most teacher workdays.
*In the event of inclement weather, please check studio answering service.  Messages will be posted by noon when possible or at least one hour prior to class.  Cancellations may also be posted on WXII and on our website, www.BADAdance.com.
*Instructors will schedule a maximum of 4 makeup classes per individual class missed for inclement weather.  However, all classes cancelled due to instructor illness or conflict will be made up.
